Run a test
Get me a test address, wait for my email and summarise what failed.
Address reserved. Tell me when the email has gone.
Gemini CLI
One entry in settings.json. Gemini CLI then reserves the address, waits for your email and reads the report back in the terminal.
42 checks · No key · No account
Add the entry to your settings.json, under mcpServers.
https://email-spam-tester.com/mcp{ "mcpServers": { "email-spam-tester": { "httpUrl": "https://email-spam-tester.com/mcp" } }}The one thing to get right is the key name. Gemini CLI treats url as an SSE endpoint, and this server speaks streamable HTTP, so the entry needs httpUrl.
/mcpget_test_addressReserves a one-hour address. With placement switched on, you also get a list of mailboxes at different providers.
wait_for_reportHolds until the checks finish, then returns the scores, the failed and warned checks with their evidence, and the fix plan.
get_reportReads an existing report by its slug, including how far the folder check has got.
get_message_sourceReturns the email as it arrived, headers in wire order, for an hour after delivery.
One key name stands between
you and a real test.

Script it
Write a shell script that sends deploy/smoke-mail.txt through our relay to a test address.
Script written. It reads the relay login from your environment.
Read the source
Show the Received chain of this message and tell me where it left our servers: [slug]
Four hops. The third one is the last server you control.
About half of the checks read what the sending platform adds: the DKIM signature, the path through its servers, the unsubscribe headers. Pasted text has none of those, so the model would be guessing.
What you send to the test address. The raw message stays for an hour after it arrives and then only the report remains, at a link anyone with the slug can open. Test mail you would be fine showing a colleague, and read the privacy policy for the rest.
Yes. It is the same analysis and the same report page, so a run from a chat can be compared with one from the home page.
In Gemini CLI url means an SSE server and httpUrl means streamable HTTP, which is what this one uses.
If your session can reach a mail command or a relay, yes. Otherwise send it yourself and tell Gemini when it has gone.
The tools are ordinary MCP calls, so they run wherever your CLI session can reach the server.
